Job summary

Venio Systems seeks an experienced Lead Software Engineer to guide design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions. You will lead technical architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure high standards for code quality, security, and performance.

The role requires 12–18 years of experience with .NET, Angular, and SQL Server, and a track record of delivering scalable systems in hybrid/remote environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field.
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, NET Core, Angular, SQL, and modern web tech.
• Experience leading software teams and driving architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Drive technical architecture, design, and implementation decisions.
• Review and approve technical solutions, code quality, and development standards.
• Provide guidance on best practices, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and senior developers.
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services.
• Lead development of scalable APIs, backend services, and front-end applications.
• Ensure high-quality, secure code delivery and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in hands-on development when required.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Track development progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Support prioritization of technical debt, enhancements, and production fixes.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, release management, and change management processes.
• Contribute to system architecture and technology roadmap planning.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Drive modernization initiatives and process improvements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure.
