Lead Software Engineer

Location: London (hybrid 2 days onsite)

Type: £800+ Per day (12 month Contract)

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who is experienced within Payment Management and PCM. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the configuration, scripting, and reporting of software solutions that meet business requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
4. Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Experience in software development, with a strong focus on PCM, Swift, and Java.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Solid understanding of payment management and payment messaging.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
