Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong fundamentals across the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, release and production support.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting production-grade systems.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with data integrations and modern languages.
• Familiarity with JUnit, Maven, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Batch, and Hibernate.
• Demonstrated experience guiding AI-assisted software development tools with validation standards.
• Understanding responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling and security compliance.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering in Agile, managing priorities and producing clear documentation.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own production outcomes for Equity Derivatives workflows including monitoring and incident triage.
• Drive design, development, testing, release and troubleshooting of software solutions.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain critical services.
• Produce architecture artifacts and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with front office, operations, and technology to define specs and acceptance criteria.
• Lead UAT planning and execution for pricing, booking, and risk changes.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and establish validation standards.
• Utilize SDLC toolchain and AI-assisted automation to maximize value.
• Maintain release discipline with regression, rollback planning, and observability.
• Gather telemetry to improve stability, quality and delivery predictability.
• Identify hidden failure patterns and drive improvements in architecture and readiness
