Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Software Engineer III within JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Investment Bank. You will be part of an agile team designing and delivering secure, scalable, and reliable market-leading technology products. Your role involves developing solutions across various technical areas to support the firm's business objectives.

The team is transforming the equity financing platform, working on projects involving Kafka, AMPS, real-time trading platforms in KDB, data science tools in Python, and UIs in React. You will work in a dynamic, global environment, growing your skills alongside experienced technologists.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, thinking beyond routine approaches.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain system algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
• Analyze large data sets to develop visualizations and reports for continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden problems in data and use insights to improve system architecture.
• Contribute to communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Formal training and experience in system design and Java programming.
