Job summary

Meta is seeking principal engineers to join our leadership teams in London, driving complex technical problems and building features across mobile and web platforms. You will guide a world-class group of engineers and researchers, shaping the roadmap for large-scale infrastructure and AI-enabled workflows.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree, broad programming experience (C/C++/Java, Python/JavaScript, Hack), and a proven ability to plan multi-year roadmaps with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts.
• Experience utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
• Experience mentoring/influencing experienced engineers across organizations.
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
• Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmaps aligning short-term projects to the long-term mission.

• Communicate complex features and systems in detail.
