We have a unique opportunity to join the Chief Operating Office at Royal London, helping shape the future of the organization across various disciplines.

The Chief Operating Office (COO) collaborates across Royal London to achieve strategic goals, focusing on operational excellence, innovation, customer experience, and risk management.

Our business unit manages millions of customers and aligns colleagues, applications, and projects within three value streams: Long Term Savings, Protection & Equity Release, and Long Standing Customers & Annuities. This role is part of the Long Term Savings stream.

We seek a skilled Lead Software Engineer with Java expertise to join our team. You will provide technical leadership in designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions that meet business needs.

This role offers the chance to influence how Royal London develops applications, combining leadership with technical proficiency. It supports internal career growth and focuses on our new Pensions Application stack, contributing to our mission of strengthening mutual options for customers through innovative technology.
