Job Description: Lead Software Engineer

Quest Global, a leading organization at the forefront of innovation and one of the world's fastest-growing engineering services firms, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our expanding software community. The role involves developing cutting-edge embedded software within the Combat Air Electronic Warfare domain.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop effective planning strategies and report progress regularly.
• Support design and gate review activities.
• Develop embedded software using RTOSs such as VxWorks or embedded Linux.
• Deploy software on multi-core or distributed hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers to develop integrated embedded solutions.
• Utilize C++ and other scripting languages.
• Adhere to airborne software design standards such as RTCA 178C and coding standards like MISRA C/C++.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in the full software lifecycle: requirements management, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
• Proficiency in UML and C++.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design (OOD) techniques.
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum, and tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or Gitlab.
• Experience with RTCA 178C DAL C design assurance or similar standards.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with Matlab Simulink, Cameo, DOORS, Dimensions, or similar tools.
