Technical Leadership

Serve as the technical expert in .NET technologies, guiding architectural decisions and development strategies for our projects. Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions, working alongside the architecture team and squads to ensure alignment with enterprise architectural vision and requirements.

Squad Collaboration

Engage with squads within the Spotify model to promote cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving. Mentor junior engineers to foster continuous improvement and innovation.

Code Excellence

Maintain high standards of code quality and performance through best practices, code reviews, and leading by example.

Continuous Improvement

Advocate for and implement enhancements in engineering practices, tools, and processes to boost team efficiency and product quality, dedicating significant time to this area.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications / Experience
  • 5+ years in software development with a focus on .NET technologies such as C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and preferably Entity Framework.
  • Proven leadership in development projects and team management.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in agile environments, ideally within the Spotify model.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and a relevant degree.
Technical Skills
  • Technologies/Patterns: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Postgres, SQL Server, Redis, AMQP, Microservice design patterns, Synchronous & Asynchronous integration patterns.
  • Frameworks / Way of Working: Agile; Scrum & Kanban; Exposure to Spotify Engineering model.
  • Tooling: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools (preferably Argo), Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
