I am working with an established tech-driven company who are looking for a Lead Software Developer to join their team.

The Role:

As a Lead Software Developer, you’ll work across both internal and client-facing systems, helping to define and implement software architecture, CI/CD automation, and best practices in quality assurance.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance .NET applications using C#
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines (including infrastructure as code and test automation)
  • Advocating for and applying Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Leading small squads of developers
  • Contributing to architectural decisions with the Head of Development
  • Enhancing interfaces using Blazor (experience in Blazor or modern JS frameworks like React or Vue is a bonus)
  • Writing efficient SQL queries and contributing to data-driven applications

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong experience in C# / .NET
  • Experience with CI/CD, TDD, and Azure

  • Agile delivery and team collaboration
  • Building for maintainability, performance and clear documentation

Experience or interest in the following would also be valuable:

  • Managing or supporting connected devices or remote systems
  • Working with Linux-based systems
  • CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes
  • Internal tooling, API design and service orchestration
  • Frontend technologies such as React
  • Networking, messaging protocols or event-driven systems
