Job summary

WeBuild-AI in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of complex AI-powered software systems. You will work across the full stack—frontend in React/TypeScript and backend in Python—building performant, maintainable solutions.

You will mentor a small team of engineers, drive architecture and CI/CD practices, and collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, and Product Managers to turn ideas into production-ready software.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and deploying production-grade web and software applications.
• Strong experience in React, TypeScript, and Python (Java optional).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native development (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading by example.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with AI/ML APIs or frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

This role is hybrid and we come into our London based office 3 days a week.
