Job summary

DXC Technology in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Software Developer (Leadership) to guide a software engineering team in building software products and solutions. You will provide technical mentorship, perform code reviews, and help execute our software engineering strategy while leading by example in a hands-on role.

The position requires strong leadership, deep C/C++ and Python skills, Linux expertise, and a solid track record in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or equivalent.
• 6+ years software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leadership/mentoring role.
• C/C++ production experience.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Python programming experience.
• Proficiency in multiple languages; debugging.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/CI-CD.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
