Job Description:

A cutting-edge computer vision and telematics software solutions company is looking to hire a Lead Developer.

You will lead a growing team (currently 3 developers, with plans to expand), focusing on R&D and product development of innovative AI/ML-based computer vision and video management systems.

The role involves hands-on architecture, design, implementation of software processes, and selection and deployment of tech stack, cloud, and tools. You will also manage team members.

Initially, approximately 60% of the role will be hands-on.

Key skills/experience required:

• Proven experience leading full-stack development teams, especially in Computer Vision, IoT, or telematics projects.
• Proven track record as a Full Stack Developer using Python, Flask, Django.
• Expertise in integrating computer vision algorithms.
• Experience with libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Experience working on IoT or connected devices.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
• Relevant BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, ML, Computer Vision, or related tech field.

This is a predominantly office-based role; candidates should live within commuting distance of Nottingham or be willing to relocate.
