About the role

We are searching for an experienced Lead Software Developer to join an NHS Organisation around their digital transformation programme!

Start: ASAP
Initial Contract: 3-6 months
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid commute)
Day Rate: TBC | Inside IR35

Your Responsibilities:
– Provide analysis and technical guidance to a team of software developers (scrum team)
– Assist with 2nd to 3rd-line software support.
– Engage with various stakeholders across the organisation.

Your Qualifications/Experience:
– Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience in the NHS
– Proven experience using an IDE to write code.
– Practical experience using software development frameworks e.g. .NET or Java or database tech stack
– Understanding of relational databases, design and SQL.
– Understanding of good software design e.g. SOLID, TDD and Object-oriented programming
– NHS experience in the last 3 years.
