Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Principal Social Worker for the MASH team in South Wales. You will lead safeguarding practice, oversee casework, and drive service delivery in a supportive environment.

You will supervise social workers, coordinate assessments, participate in case conferences, and promote children's welfare. The role requires Social Work England registration and full UK working status.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with Social Work England.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
• Post-qualified experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of social workers within the MASH.
• Ensure timely assessments of safeguarding concerns and coordinate interventions.
• Evaluate complex cases and provide staff guidance.
• Collaborate with external agencies and participate in case conferences.
• Advocate for children's rights and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to safeguarding policies and team development through supervision and training.
