Job summary

Arm is seeking an SDL Architect to define and drive the Security Development Lifecycle for Arm-based SoCs. You will set strategy, governance, and leadership to coordinate security across architecture, RTL, physical build, software, and production, ensuring scalable SDL adoption across programs and teams.

You will lead threat modeling, risk assessment, and security reviews, maturing verification methodologies while aligning with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a SoC Security Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the full SoC lifecycle from architecture to production.
• Experience defining security processes, frameworks, or methodologies at an organizational level.
• Proven ability to lead and influence across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with hardware security concepts such as secure boot and key management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold the SDL framework for Arm SoC development across the lifecycle.
• Define security processes, checkpoints, and sign-off criteria aligned with industry standards.
• Develop scalable SDL processes usable across multiple programs and teams.
• Lead adoption across architecture, build, verification, physical build, firmware, software, and product teams.
• Define roles and accountability for security across teams and provide technical leadership.
• Act as the central SDL authority for SoCs and drive consistent decisions.
• Provide frameworks and mentorship for threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Ensure SDL coverage across hardware, software, and production stacks.
• Develop and mature security verification methodology for SoCs.
• Define metrics to track SDL adoption and efficiency.
• Continuously improve SDL based on feedback and evolving risks.
