Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Global Snowflake Platform Lead to own and evolve a global Snowflake platform, balancing hands-on delivery with platform leadership across multiple countries.

You will collaborate with global data teams in the UK, US and Europe to drive standardised, scalable data engineering practices, governan ce and vendor management within a hybrid working arrangement in Egham.

Job description

Location: Egham (Hybrid – 2/3 days per week)

Salary: £90,000–£95,000 + Benefits and Bonus

A Global Snowflake Platform Lead is required to join a leading international organisation that is continuing to develop and scale its global data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a strategic Snowflake environment already adopted across multiple countries, combining hands‑on technical delivery with platform leadership, stakeholder management and third‑party vendor management.

Working across a global data and technology function, you'll help evolve the Snowflake platform, support further international rollouts and enable data teams to adopt consistent, scalable and well‑governed data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Own and evolve the global Snowflake platform, supporting its continued development and international rollout.
• Balance hands‑on Snowflake engineering with technical leadership, platform strategy and stakeholder engagement.
• Define and implement standards across development, deployment, security, governance and platform operations.
• Work closely with global data teams across the UK, US and Europe to enable adoption and deliver consistent platform capabilities.
• Manage and technically oversee third‑party vendors and delivery partners.

Additional Experience & Attributes:

• Strong commercial experience with Snowflake within a data engineering or platform environment.
• Good understanding of AWS and cloud‑based data platforms, alongside experience with dbt.
• Experience with DevOps, GitHub and CI/CD‑based development and deployment practices.
• Experience working across global teams, multiple business units and/or federated technology environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to remain hands‑on while operating strategically.
