Working Pattern: Full Time, Whole Time, 37 Hours Per Week, Monday - Friday

Salary: NJC Grade I (Pts 19-22) £29,777 - £31,364 (pending job evaluation)

We are looking to appoint a Lead Site Supervisor to join our successful site management team, due to the retirement of the current post holder.

The post is permanent and based at Conyers School in Yarm.

The post holder will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager, managing and working with the site team to:

• Ensure all Health and Safety and safeguarding measures are in place and adhered to
• Complete health and safety compliance checks as required
• Manage a team of site service personnel
• Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of the School and grounds
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks
• Handle key holding and opening/closing of the school
• Perform planned maintenance activities

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining high standards, capable of prioritising tasks independently, attentive to areas needing attention, with strong DIY skills being advantageous.

This is a shift-based position requiring flexibility, including occasional late evenings. You may work at other schools within the trust, so own transport and insurance are essential.

The 1590 Trust is in the process of merging with Vision Academy Learning Trust (VALT) to form Vision 1590 Trust, with a proposed merger date of 01 September 2024.

The Trust includes Conyers School, Levendale School, Layfield School, Kirklevington School, Bader School, Bewley School, and Whitehouse School, expanding to include 8 more schools across Stockton, Redcar & Cleveland, and Middlesbrough after the merger.
