Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

About the role:

This hands-on role involves working closely with the Head of Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop solutions and enhance user experiences. You will review and lead strategies to improve the security, performance, and scalability of our software and services across cloud infrastructure. You will have autonomy to shape the team’s future using your expertise in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform management
  • Development and deployment of APIs using containerized environments like Kubernetes
  • Implementing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
  • Collaborating in an agile environment with stakeholders
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • AWS services such as IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • CloudFormation and CDK
  • Experience with serverless computing
