Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

Our site reliability engineers (SREs) empower users with high availability and stellar performance to pursue their goals.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role working closely with the Head of Engineering. You will manage the SRE function daily, developing strategies for the security, performance, and scalability of our software and services across cloud infrastructure. You will have significant autonomy to shape the team’s future using your expertise in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform management
  • Development and deployment of APIs in containerized environments like Kubernetes
  • Implementing/enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in an agile environment
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • AWS services, including IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • CloudFormation/CDK
  • Experience with serverless computing
