As a Lead SRE Engineer, you will be forward-thinking, taking issues and finding repeatable, scalable, and automated solutions with a mindset to continuously improve your workflow guided by metrics. You will be able to deploy applications in a controlled, repeatable way and have developed technical specialisms in frameworks and/or toolsets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside customers to drive their work to high standards.
  • Create efficient, automated solutions to reduce manual effort and costs.
  • Promote high standards and good code quality practices.
  • Assist with updates and out-of-hours maintenance as required.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring.

Your Experience:

  • Ownership of support for mission-critical systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues within strict timeframes.
  • Experience with observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux OS, with efficient fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • Experience developing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Your Future Team:

You will work with software teams providing infrastructure and platform expertise, re-engineering legacy code, and automating processes to improve efficiency. Your role will involve maintaining and upgrading systems on customer sites.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and support Linux-based solutions using Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, mentoring junior team members and promoting best practices.
