Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture Design or Development patterns.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Python, Perl, Java, and C++.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
  • Proficient with scripting languages like PowerShell and bash.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in customer projects, from infrastructure builds to audits.
  • Architect, implement, and improve monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Design and implement runbooks for incident support.
  • Automate tasks to reduce toil and improve solutions.
  • Lead development teams in application implementations.
  • Advise and mentor teams on improving solution availability and efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements.

Job description

Currently, we are looking for a Lead Site Reliability Architect for our team in the UK.

Your daily responsibilities:

  • Participating in various customer projects, from new infrastructure builds and migrations to audits and big data
  • Architect, implement, and improve existing monitoring and alerting systems
  • Design and implement runbooks to allow support teams to attend to incidents
  • Design, develop, implement, and improve new and existing solutions to automate tasks and reduce toil
  • Lead, or form part of development teams responsible for the implementation of applications
  • Advise and mentor development teams on patterns, practices, and architectures to improve the availability, latency, performance and efficiency of built solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, and recommend improvements where appropriate

Your key skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture Design and/or Cloud Architectural Patterns for Development
  • Programming languages, such as C#, Python, Perl, Java, C++
  • CICD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Gitlab, Jenkins, TeamCity
  • Scripting languages such as PowerShell, bash
  • Observability/Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
  • Containerisation tools such as Docker, K8S, OpenShift, EC, containers
  • Analytical and creative approach to problem solving
