Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation projects across Suffolk and North Essex. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and residents, and ensure work is delivered safely, on programme and to high standards.

Ideally you hold SMSTS/CSCS and First Aid, with a strong health and safety knowledge, excellent organisation and communication skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience within social housing refurbishment or planned works.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation works across occupied properties.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and materials to ensure projects run efficiently.
• Monitoring progress against programme, budgets and quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Carrying out site inspections, quality checks and subcontractor performance reviews.
• Working closely with Contracts Managers, clients and Resident Liaison Officers to minimise disruption to residents.
• Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation.
• Identifying and resolving site issues to ensure successful project delivery.
