Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Agent to manage major heavy civil engineering and infrastructure schemes across Staffordshire and the West Midlands. You will lead multidisciplinary site teams, drive delivery to time, budget and safety standards, and act as the client ambassador.

You will monitor construction programmes, RAMS, ITPs and waste management plans, produce monthly progress reports, chair site meetings, and seek value engineering opportunities to optimize performance.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Experience as Site Agent for heavy civils or water infrastructure
Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, programming, and cost forecasting
Active credentials: CSCS Manager Card, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely, TWC, Confined Space training

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary site teams to deliver complex civil engineering works safely and efficiently
Manage project construction schedules, 2-week look-ahead programs, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans
Monitor cost plans, track site records, and identify value engineering opportunities
Act as the key client ambassador, producing monthly progress reports and chairing site meetings
