Workforce Recruitment are recruiting for a Lead Sign Fitter on behalf of a Bromsgrove-based signage specialist. The role involves leading installations across the UK, working independently or with a Mate, and delivering high-quality commercial signage projects.

The position offers a salary of £32,000-£40,000 per year, a company van, fuel card, and overtime opportunities, with Monday–Friday hours and occasional nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and carry out signage installations at commercial premises nationwide.
• Install external building signage, internal signs, illuminated displays, wayfinding systems and branding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
• Ensure signage is installed accurately, securely and to a high standard.
• Take responsibility for site organisation, installation quality and health and safety.
• Work independently or with a Sign Fitter's Mate depending on the project.
• Liaise with customers, site managers and contractors.
• Work safely at height and use access equipment when required.

Workforce Recruitment are working with an established commercial signage specialist based in Bromsgrove to recruit an experienced Lead Sign Fitter for a varied, UK-wide installation role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced signage professional who can confidently lead installations, work independently and deliver high-quality results across a wide range of commercial projects.

You'll be installing signage at customer sites throughout the UK, working either independently or alongside a Sign Fitter's Mate. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000, a company van and fuel card, plus overtime opportunities.

Please note: The company is based in Bromsgrove, but the role involves travel to installation sites across the UK. Overnight stays are very rarely required.

The Role - Lead Sign Fitter

Your duties will include:

• Leading and carrying out signage installations at commercial premises nationwide.

• Installing external building signage, internal signs, illuminated displays, wayfinding systems and commercial branding.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation specifications.

• Ensuring all signage is installed accurately, securely and to a high standard.

• Taking responsibility for site organisation, installation quality and health and safety.

• Working independently or alongside a Sign Fitter's Mate, depending on the project.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Previous experience in the signage industry, specifically sign fitting and installation.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Valid IPAF qualification.

• Valid PASMA qualification.

• A full UK driving licence.

• The ability to lead installations and work independently.

• Flexibility to travel to projects across the UK.

Desirable: SSSTS qualification and previous experience supervising or leading a signage installation team.
