Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £48,500 DOE

Orion is partnered with a well-established manufacturing business located in Basingstoke, which is recruiting for a highly skilled electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts:

1. 2x shift rotational shift pattern mixture of days and nights.
2. Only 3 - 4 weekends worked in a year MAXIMUM
3. 12x hour shifts

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience:

1. Must be electrically biased and hold a UK recognised engineering qualification in electrical engineering.
2. Must have the right to work long term in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
3. Must have a full UK drivers licence.
4. Must have experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
5. Must have multi skilled experience in a manufacturing setting.
6. Strong machinery maintenance experience.
7. Experience with PLC's.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. Continuous improvement experience and mindset.
10. Machinery installation experience.
11. Experience with sensors, panel boards, motors, relays etc.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

1. To work alongside the Maintenance team with reactive and planned maintenance.
2. Electrical and mechanical machinery installation & modifications.
3. Electrical and mechanical machinery maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
4. Carry out autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly, recording work carried out in appropriate documentation.
5. Ensure handovers between shifts are detailed and add value.

Days Engineer Qualifications/Experience:

1. ONC/HNC or equivalent in Engineering (Ideally electrical).
2. 18th Edition.
3. FMCG Experience.
