GE Vernova seeks to recruit a Lead Services Specialist - Technical Support responsible for post-sales customer issue support, including repairs (returns and field), technical support, field service, or other service requests. This role impacts departmental operations and involves planning and execution.

The role offers some autonomy but primarily focuses on executing activities within standard practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required, typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues, providing Level 1, 2, and 3 technical support.
  • Increase technical depth to handle more complex issues, with some individuals managing multiple levels for certain products.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, applying prior experience and expertise to execute policies and strategies.
  • Understand key business drivers and how they influence work.
  • Recognize how team activities integrate with others and contribute to broader goals.
  • Exercise judgment and propose solutions outside set parameters with guidance.
  • Use experience and training to solve straightforward tasks, utilizing technical skills and analytical thinking.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal sources to make informed decisions.
  • This level typically involves individual contribution with proven interpersonal skills or early leadership in hiring and developing talent.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced experience in Services & Technical Support.
  • Knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree or relevant certification and experience.
