Job summary

CV Technical in Rugby, Warwickshire is seeking a Senior Technician to join a specialist service workshop. The role focuses on hands-on servicing, repair and fault finding of electromechanical equipment, with line supervision and quality control responsibilities.

The post is predominantly site-based with occasional travel to customer locations, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, and a salary up to £37,500. Applicants should have strong IT skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, repairing or fault finding on electromechanical equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PAT testing or electrical safety testing.
• Previous experience as a Senior Technician or similar role.
• EBME, medical equipment or healthcare equipment experience is advantageous.
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and fault find on specialist electromechanical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out PAT testing and electrical safety checks.
• Support and supervise the workshop operation.
• Supervise and support one Technician.
• Ensure equipment is repaired, tested and completed within required timescales.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to update records and track progress.
• Attend customer sites to provide servicing and technical support.
