About The Job

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead/Senior Underwriter - Professional Indemnity to join our growing Casualty team. In this key leadership role, you will take ownership of the underwriting of the international professional indemnity portfolio covering a wide range of sectors and territories.

As the lead/senior underwriter, you will guide and mentor the team and collaborate with brokers, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the underwriting of the international professional indemnity portfolio, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and adherence to standards.
• Develop and pursue new business opportunities, products, and clients.
• Provide strategic direction on underwriting practices to drive growth.
• Work with brokers and clients to assess risks and provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to maintain competitiveness.
• Collaborate with claims team to understand trends and reduce exposure.
• Report on team performance and market conditions to senior management.
