Lead Senior Project Manager x2 – 12 months

Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity for a Lead Senior Project Manager available on a 12-month full time fixed term contract.

The Lead Senior Project Manager will be to project manage a portfolio of challenging, complex, multi-phased, joint venture and mixed-tenure developments and regeneration schemes throughout all stages of the development process.

As the Lead Senior Project Manager, you will manage and monitor schemes on site to ensure compliance with the council’s employer’s requirements and GLA funding requirements, ensuring all statutory, planning, procedural and audit requirements are met, and working closely with the Finance department to provide, manage and monitor accurate budgeting and cashflow forecasting for both income and expenditure.

You will be expected to coordinate technical liaison and coordination with key internal/external stakeholders, consultants & agencies such as Network Rail, Commercial Advisers, Structural Engineers, Ground Surveyors, Utilities Agencies, Legal, Finance, Highways, Planning, Asset Management, Health and Safety, Employers Agents etc.

Our ideal Lead Senior Project Manager will have the below skills and experience:

  • Substantial track record of successfully managing and delivering new build and regeneration development projects from pipeline, scheme development and design, planning, through to contract let, on site project management, scheme completion, final account, and latent defects period.
  • Use of financial modelling software, e.g. Proval or equivalent.
  • Managing substantial client capital budgets and providing financial/budgetary management information and reporting systems.
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety within the construction industry, CDM Regulations, Building Safety Act and JCT D&B contracts.
  • Sound knowledge of the construction industry, housing management, and legal contracts relating to new build housing schemes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
