Lead SEND Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September 2025
Salary: 110 - 136 per day
Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Location: Westminster

SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be supporting a highly regarded creative and holistic primary school in the heart of Westminster in their search for an experienced and passionate Lead SEND Teaching Assistant.

The Role:

  • Provide high-level 1:1 and small group support to children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Act as a point of contact for support staff, liaising with the SENCO and class teachers.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of EHCPs and personalised learning plans.
  • Support inclusive practice, sensory regulation strategies, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Model positive behaviour and develop meaningful relationships with pupils.

What We're Looking For:

  • Significant experience supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Warm, confident communication and calm, compassionate behaviour management.
  • A passion for creative and holistic learning environments.
  • Ideally a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
