Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Software Developer (R&D) to lead feature development for complex software platforms on Windows. You will mentor staff, review designs, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

A strong background in C/C++, C#, .NET Core, WPF and XAML is required, with emphasis on security concepts and architecture. The role requires 6–10 years of experience, Agile/ADO familiarity, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of experience in software development.
• Experience building solutions from the ground up.
• Strong programming in C/C++, C#, .NET Core on Windows.
• Experience with unit testing and Agile/ADO.
• Knowledge of Windows architecture, security and performance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple feature development or software applications with internal and outsourced partners across all stages of design and development.
• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners on software projects.
• Reviews designs for compliance with guidelines and provides feedback to improve quality.
• Provides domain-specific leadership and guidance across projects and teams.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies in software applications.
• Mentors less-experienced staff and shares expertise.
