Job summary

Lead Security Officer at Securitas UK in London, England is responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring SIA licensed guards, and maintaining incident reporting and safety standards.

You’ll monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, coordinate with the Site Manager, and enforce company policies while delivering reliable security services across banking environments. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all security personnel have completed site training and hold a valid licence.
• Monitor and manage appearance and behaviour of security staff and take remedial action as per policy.
• Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy.
• Assist Security Management Team in developing best practices and improving service effectiveness.
• Be conversant with Access Control, CCTV Detection, and Alarm Systems; monitor and report.
• Assist Site Manager with reasonable requests and monitor faults with equipment.

Job description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Ensure all personnel under your supervision have completed the appropriate site training and hold a valid SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements
• Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel, taking remedial action in line with the company policy and procedures
• Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures
• Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing best practices and using systems and tool to improve service effectiveness
• Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV Detection, and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting
• Assist the Site Manager with any reasonable or practical request
• Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly
