Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a senior, client-facing SOC Manager to be the primary contact between customers and technical SOC teams across multiple sectors in the UK. The role combines strategic guidance with hands-on SOC knowledge, requiring travel to customer sites and regular engagement with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Senior experience within a SOC, Cyber Security, Security Operations or Technical Account Management environment.
  • Strong understanding of SOC operations, monitoring, alerting and incident response.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to explain cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfortable leading meetings with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain calm and credible during incidents or escalations.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Comfortable working across multiple customers and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

  • Travel to customer sites across London and Scotland when required.

The company is looking for a senior, client-facing SOC Manager to act as a key point of contact between customers and technical SOC teams. The position is ideally hybrid from Hammersmith, with UK-remote options also considered and regular travel to customer sites, particularly across London and Scotland.

  • Experience working with managed SOC / MSSP services.
