Lonza Group Ltd. is seeking a Lead Scientist – Protein and Process Analytics for a part-time role in Slough. The role combines laboratory work with scientific leadership to advance analytical technologies for biotherapeutic proteins.

You will develop and optimize analytical methods, interpret complex data and communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring high-quality results in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in a life sciences field; PhD desirable.
• Extensive hands-on experience with protein analysis and characterization.
• Strong experience with chromatography, electrophoresis and MS methods.
• Experience with IEX, SEC, HIC, RP, HILIC, LC-MS and LC-MS/MS.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute analytical projects, including method development and optimization.
• Perform analytical characterization of biotherapeutic proteins using LC and MS techniques.
• Develop, troubleshoot and qualify analytical methods to meet project needs.
• Interpret data and communicate findings through technical reports and presentations.
• Provide analytical leadership within cross-functional projects and coordinate study progress.
• Evaluate new analytical technologies and software to improve throughput and capability.
• Collaborate with Protein and Process Analytics, Protein Chemistry and other teams.
