Lead Science Technician required for a large outstanding school in Greenwich.
- Position: Lead Senior Science Technician
- Location: Greenwich
- Start Date: ASAP
- Type: Temp to Perm
- Salary: £130 - £150 per day
- Working Hours: Full Time, 8 am to 4 pm
As Lead Science Technician, you will be responsible for the Science Technician Team in this well-resourced school. Your duties will include:
- Creating a positive working relationship with staff and students
- Coordinating the use of practical resources and providing assistance and advice on the practical needs of the science curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and ensuring a healthy & safe working environment
- Providing technical advice and support on health & safety issues to teaching and technical staff; managing the safe treatment & disposal of used materials, including hazardous substances, and responding to hazards
- Ensuring technicians meet performance standards and working closely with the Curriculum Leader in Science regarding changes to the National Curriculum
