Full-Time Supply Role | Sept 2025 - Dec 2025 (initially)

Are you a qualified Science teacher ready to step into a leadership role? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an experienced Lead Science Teacher to support the Head of Science and Second in Department at a successful 11-16 secondary academy in Manchester.

About the Role:

• Full-time, five days a week supply teaching position
• Lead and support a dynamic science team including two new trainees starting September
• Deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons with a focus on practical, innovative teaching
• Apply confident classroom management and Assessment for Learning strategies
• Adapt lessons to meet the evolving needs of students
• Ideal for aspiring or experienced leaders (lead teacher, second in department, or former head of science) wanting to bring leadership expertise to supply teaching
