Lead School Nurse (Maternity Leave) - Aldenham, Herts

Our client, founded in 1935, is an independent day and boarding prep school, in Aldenham, Hertfordshire, for boys and girls aged between 3 and 13 years. The school is set in 28 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, just 15 miles from London.

They are seeking a part-time Lead School Nurse (Maternity Leave) to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Health Centre. This is a part-time position, 4 days per week Monday - Wednesday & Friday 8am - 5pm, starting from 10th March - 4th July 2025.

The role of the Lead School Nurse at Edge Grove is to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Health Centre. Responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic development of the Health Centre in line with the recommended best practice guidelines from the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).
  2. Adherence to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code, Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics for Nurses and Midwives.
  3. Promoting the health and welfare of pupils to enable full participation in active school life.
  4. Leading a team of part-time Nurses.
