Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager at The Oaks Primary School in Crawley to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty food for pupils and staff. This role is term-time only with no weekends, offering great flexibility.

Responsibilities include preparing and presenting meals to Caterlink and client standards, ensuring Health & Safety, managing day-to-day site operations, supervising teams, inventories and budgets, and acting as the main client contact to drive improvements and meet KPIs.

• Prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental regulations.
• Enhance Caterlink's reputation through excellent food and service.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and supervise teams; manage inventories and budgets.
• Act as main client contact in the school; implement improvements.
• Communicate with line management to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles.
