Job summary

Stockfield Primary School, NE5 2DQ, is seeking a Chef to lead the school catering service for 30 hours per week, serving around 300 pupils daily with a team of five Catering Assistants. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, uphold food safety standards and health and safety practices, and provide strong customer service.

The role offers development opportunities within Newcastle City Council Catering Services, with full training and mentoring to progress within the service.

• Experience in a busy catering environment.
• Ability to lead and support a team of five Catering Assistants.
