Job summary

You will provide strategic leadership across engineering, operations, commercial and supply chain, act as the primary customer interface and own programme performance throughout the mission lifecycle. The role requires proven satellite systems experience and strong delivery focus.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering satellite projects, ideally constellations.
• Experience interfacing with customers and managing contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage risks, costs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract award through development, launch and operation.
• Break down work into packages and allocate resources.
• Monitor budgets, risks and performance against baselines.
• Interface with customers and SSTL leadership and other stakeholders.
• Manage major reviews and ensure milestones are met and payments secured.
