It’s an exciting time to join the Digital team here at AXA Health, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers; and to streamline and automate our business processes. We’re looking for an experienced Lead Test Engineer to join our Engineering team, to help with the delivery of our digital roadmap, develop our people and capabilities, and support our Engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a product-led operating model. In this model, all our teams align with value streams, which means that we have the necessary resources to take an idea from conception to completion with minimal handoffs. Our current focus is on developing our Single Digital Platform, based on Salesforce, involving a significant .NET estate, use of Azure services, and React frontend web applications.

As a Lead Salesforce Test Engineer, you will learn about recent technology trends and influence the organisation to make the right choices. What you’ll be doing:

• Act as a line manager, supervising and guiding a team of test engineers, sharing best practices in manual and exploratory testing on our Salesforce Platform.
• Oversee testing activities for teams responsible for frequent code deployments and delivering business value to production.
• Be hands-on, uplifting existing capabilities, with a focus on test automation.
• Lead the technical design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation within a CI/CD environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing, including leadership roles in Test Engineering or SDET positions.
• Deep understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC.
• Expertise with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with Provar or Copado Robotics Testing (CRT) is advantageous.
• Experience with load testing and reporting results.
• Strong manual testing skills, complemented by automation expertise.
• Proven process improvement experience to enhance testing efficiency.

Eligibility to work in the UK is a precondition.
