Great opportunity for a Lead Salesforce Engineer to join one of the UKs most recognisable tech brands.

As the Lead Salesforce Engineer you'll focus on guiding and coaching the team, driving delivery, and ensuring technical excellence. While you won't be as hands-on with the code, you'll play a key role in mentoring team members and fostering collaboration. This will enable the team to build, maintain, and support systems and applications through building APIs and collating data using Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

• Have a more holistic, hands off approach to software engineering by guiding other Salesforce engineers from a technical point of view
• Utilise expertise with Salesforce to spot opportunities to continuously improve and align to strategy
• Communicate across the business with both technical and not so technical members of staff
• Be involved in communities of practise to share best practises within Salesforce development, knowledge and skills
• Support colleagues in their own career development through coaching and mentorship
• Be on hand to solve technical problems when they arise

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive background in Software Engineering with a demonstrated career progression into a technical leadership type position
• Previous experience building Apex classes (synchronous and asynchronous) whilst also building and maintaining APIs (standard and custom)
• Proven demonstration of tooling and practises for the build, integration and deployment of automated builds all whilst working towards a set end goal
• A great understanding of test-driven development
• Proven expertise with writing Apex test classes
• Excellent people leadership skills
