Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services Limited offers clients integrated packages including Nitrogen services (purging, helium leak testing, bolt tensioning and torquing, system cooldowns), cleaning services (lube-oil flushing, chemical cleaning, retro jetting, high-velocity flushing), and drying using air, nitrogen, or vacuum. We also provide pipeline services, mechanical, chemical, or gel technology cleaning, which are tailored to pipeline conditions to minimize downtime and environmental impact. Our environmentally friendly solutions include clean-burn mobile flaring services and temporary gas transfer packages. Other services include hydro-testing, water injection, enhanced oil recovery, and decommissioning. We package these to manage the entire pre-commissioning process, optimizing resource utilization, reducing costs, and decreasing startup time. For plant turnarounds, our services minimize outage time and improve efficiency.

This position reports to the PPS UK/Norway Sales Manager and is based in Aberdeen.

The role requires UK travel and attendance at meetings outside normal hours.

Lead Sales Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Own client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support major tenders.
  • Develop sales in your area and maintain strong customer networks.
  • Introduce BHI new technology in the UK market as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate with key account managers and support the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all HSE and emergency procedures.
  • Promote and sell company services to new and existing markets, utilizing current equipment.
  • Establish and maintain professional client relationships before, during, and after contracts.
  • Handle technical and commercial enquiries, tenders, and contracts per QA standards.
  • Hand over successful proposals to operations.
  • Prepare and review quarterly revenue forecasts with the UK sales manager.
  • Develop and implement sales plans aligned with business strategies.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments to optimize efforts and reduce costs.
  • Track sales objectives and update plans accordingly.
  • Maintain close communication with operations.
  • Deliver presentations to promote the company's image.
  • Travel for business opportunities and meetings.
  • Generate enquiries, secure contracts, submit tenders, and manage purchase orders.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Operational/sales experience in PPS services.
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer relationships.
