Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join the senior rotation. The role covers both departmental and ward-based duties, ensuring medicines legislation compliance and safe patient care.

You will lead within your clinical speciality, participate in medicines management initiatives, and support service planning with financial reporting to Divisions. A strong professional and managerial role within the Pharmacy Team is expected.

Qualifications

• Experienced pharmacist with NHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with medicines legislation.
• Provide medication to patients in a safe and legal manner.
• Work independently but discuss issues with peers and senior colleagues.
• Be the lead pharmacist within the clinical speciality on rotation.
• Participate in delivery of the clinical pharmacy service and medicines management initiatives.
• Assist in planning and development of services and in provision of financial reports to the Divisions.
• Provide professional and managerial support to the Pharmacist Team Leader.
• Contribute to all aspects of the Pharmacy service, ward or department based.
