Job summary

Central Alliance, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a Lead Driller to manage rotary drilling operations. The role requires a full UK driving licence, CSCS, and NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling.

You will work to high standards with engineers and drilling supervisors, providing logs and inspection sheets regularly. We offer overtime benefits, paid travel, and opportunities for career progression within a large, supportive group.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• CSCS and NVQ level 2 in Land Drilling required.
• Willingness to attend internal and external training (Fire Safety, First Aid, PTS, CSCS, CCNSG).
• Maintenance of ground investigation plant, equipment and tools.
• Operates various rig types with focus on Comacchio and Fraste machines.
• Flexible with hours and willing to work away from home.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.
• Good communication and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead Driller primarily for Rotary operations.
• Adhere to best practices and industry standards; training provided.
• Follow instructions from engineers and drilling supervisors.
• Provide paperwork: drill logs and equipment inspection sheets weekly.
