Job summary

Keyman Personnel in London is seeking an experienced Roofing Site Manager to oversee single ply roofing on new-build school projects in the Chingford area. You will lead the roofing package from mobilisation through handover, managing roofing operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring RAMS and health & safety standards are met.

Strong practical knowledge of single ply systems and proven leadership are essential for coordinating with the main contractor and project team to keep the programme on

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Roofing Site Manager or similar.
• Strong practical knowledge of single ply roofing systems.
• Experience managing commercial roofing packages.
• Ability to lead roofing teams and coordinate subcontractors.
• Solid RAMS, health & safety and site compliance understanding.
• Experience liaising with main contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement RAMS, site procedures and health & safety standards
• Manage roofing programme and coordinate daily site activities
• Supervise roofing operatives and subcontractors
• Ensure labour levels meet programme requirements
• Order and coordinate roofing materials and deliveries
• Liaise with main contractor and project teams
• Monitor workmanship and progress against programme
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
• Manage snagging and remedial works
• Drive the roofing package to completion and handover
