Job summary

A growing robotics and metrology company in Nottingham is looking for a Simulation Engineer to lead its simulation tools and strategy. This hands-on role involves driving simulation activities across product development and customer proposals, providing substantial influence over simulation processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in robotics or simulation, and experience with Robo-DK. This position offers a 4-day working week, hybrid working options, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years experience in robotics or simulation within automation.
• Hands-on experience with Robo-DK or other simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of robot kinematics and offline programming.

Responsibilities

• Drive the use of simulation across product development and project delivery.
• Lead simulation activities using Robo-DK as the primary platform.
• Produce simulation-led concept models and technical discussions.

Skills

Experience in robotics or simulation within automation
