Job summary

Hampshire Trust Bank is seeking a Lead Risk Reporting Analyst for its Credit Risk Analytics team at its London Head Office. The role focuses on delivering high-quality risk reporting, analytics and insights to support key business decisions across the bank.

You'll enhance risk reporting, drive Power BI solutions, support IFRS 9 reporting, and strengthen data quality and governance. Hybrid working 50/50 and a leadership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within Credit Risk Reporting and Analytics.
• IFRS 9 reporting and expected credit loss methodologies.
• Advanced Power BI skills including data modelling and DAX.
• Strong experience using SQL, Python, SAS, R or similar analytical tools.
• Experience analysing large datasets and translating findings into business insight.
• Experience leading analytical projects or workstreams from design through to implementation.
• Proven ability to improve reporting, analytics and data quality processes.
• Strong understanding of risk reporting frameworks and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into effective analytical and reporting outcomes.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify insights and trends.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and standardisation.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, timely and delivers business value.
• Support IFRS 9 reporting activities and ECL analysis.
• Contribute to model implementation, monitoring and reporting activities.
• Work with Risk, Finance and Model Development teams to support reporting requirements.
