Lead the Fight Against the Invisible Threat

Every day, drones become more sophisticated and more difficult to detect. What was once a tool for hobbyists has now evolved into a threat—disrupting operations at critical infrastructure, compromising military operations, and endangering public safety. Whether it's an unauthorized drone entering restricted airspace or drones used for espionage, the problem is real and growing.

This is where you come in.

We’re a technology company at the cutting edge of counter-drone solutions, working tirelessly to protect our skies, infrastructure, and public spaces. Our mission is clear: to detect, track, and neutralize unauthorized drones before they can cause harm. Our state-of-the-art solutions are deployed in sensitive environments around the world—protecting airports, military bases, government facilities, and high-profile public events.

But as threats evolve, so must we. We need an exceptional Hardware Engineering Lead to help us design the next generation of counter-drone systems—and we believe that’s you.

The Role: Hardware Engineering Lead

As the Hardware Engineering Lead, you will be the mastermind behind the hardware design of some of the most advanced counter-UAS systems globally. You will take charge of designing PCBs, high-speed digital circuits, and RF systems to ensure our technology is not only cutting-edge but reliable and effective when deployed in critical situations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Designing and validating hardware systems, from RF filters to low-noise amplifiers and high-speed digital interfaces.

Leading hardware design for manufacturing, ensuring compliance with EMC standards and maintaining high levels of reliability and performance.

Utilizing test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to ensure our designs meet strict performance specifications.

Organizing and maintaining hardware lab equipment for efficient and accurate testing.

Collaborating with a team of experts to integrate hardware with software, creating seamless, world-class counter-drone solutions.

What You’ll Need

We are looking for a senior hardware engineer with a passion for innovation and the technical expertise to match. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

10+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 2-3 years of leadership in technical development projects or teams.

Expertise in PCB design using Altium, including schematic capture, layout, and maintenance of component databases.

In-depth experience with high-speed digital circuitry and RF hardware design, including filters, matching networks, and power supplies.

Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to validate and debug designs.

A strong understanding of RF hardware theory—including isolation, filter specifications, and radio standards.

A degree in Electronic Engineering or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

RF filter specification and power amplifier design.

Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience and knowledge of RF modulation techniques.

Experience with multi-carrier combining and advanced signal processing.

Why Join Us?

This is more than just a hardware engineering role. At our company, you’ll be working on technologies that protect people—from securing military installations to ensuring public safety at major events. If you are a driven, innovative engineer looking for a challenge, this is your chance to lead the way in counter-drone technology.

Eligibility and Relocation

To comply with Australian Defence Trade Controls (Foreign Country) Instrument 2024, we are only able to consider candidates whose nationalities are on the approved list.

Relocation to Sydney, Australia is available for the right candidate, and we offer a sponsored relocation package to help you make the move.
