Job summary

Sustainable Building Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple retrofit projects in the UK. You will oversee Site Managers, Supervisors, Tenant Liaison Officers and Quality Administrators to deliver on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities include setting up projects, developing programmes, mentoring teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring retrofit compliance with timely reports and stakeholder updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in the construction industry.
• SMSTS and CSCS cards.
• First Aid certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in retrofit processes including assessments, designs and lodgements.
• IOSH Managing Safely (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up projects from the outset, including resourcing, handover from estimating, agreeing budgets, reviewing retrofit information and procuring subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project programmes to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Lead and mentor Site Managers, Supervisors, Tenant Liaison Officers and site operatives.
• Hold regular formal and informal team briefings to communicate priorities and milestones.
• Ensure all sites are appropriately resourced across the supply chain.
• Monitor the performance of subcontractors and supply chain partners, ensuring adherence to programme and contractual expectations.
• Attend operations meetings and produce relevant project reports.
• Ensure properties and works meet contract specification standards and retrofit compliance, enabling timely lodgements.
